Tera akelapan aur teri lachari dekhkar
Tujhe dil se chaaha teri sadgi dekhkar

Mujhe kisi ki surat nahi aayee nazar

Log aayenge jaayenge yahan magar

Duniya havas ki hai hardum shikaar

Looking at your loneliness and helplessness 

Liked you for your simplicity

Looking at your calmness

Felt like embracing you

I didn't see anyone's face in you

Oh, moon you are my companion

People will come and go here, still..

No one will be faithful like you

People are bitten by the greed

But I like to be in your shelter

Am happy that i could see this with my open eyes

As there is ample of love in you, my moon
